England did the whole thing wrong. They are intimidating us to make us scared. That is why they made this stupid dance called the "Hakarena" England wants to win well thats going to be hard with us in the way of the championship.

This piece of art was inspired from Shane Hansen. My theme for this creation is nature and the pride in our school. I have used birds, and koru that shows my Parkvale profile. I have the Totara tree because it represents my hub and it is big because we are the older kids. The Takahe means my house colour and bird. There are two Takahe’ s because of the age different we have. The water represents our pool and the sport that we do in there.

Night walk "BOO!"
Everything is pitch black with a little light I can’t see anyone , there we all are wondering where to go and where our feet should be. I’m scared I hope there's going to be nothing there where we are. We all are freaked out and I think, is there something behind that bush or is it just me. I hear a rattle then I say “ what was that ” then from nowhere Kane jumps out and scares all the boy and girls ROOOAAARRR!! and we all jump in fright and that's just the beginning of it.
We kept walking slow on into the thick bush and there was a word on a tree and it was pointing somewhere, we read it and then we carried on. We kept finding more every time we walked forward we read it out and it was a message that we had to find out. It was a tricky one because people didn't remember there line and words.
So everyone was done and we were the last group but as I said it was not over for the scares as soon as we came out of the bush on the other side Kevin and I thought Kane’s here trying to scare us but then he just jumps out and says “ Michael Noonan is here” the girls get scared but Kevin and I knew he was there but for this competition we lost by a long shot.

This chair is made out of 4 types of Tyre's
RV,motorbike, bicycle and truck Tyre's. The main frame is made out of the inner rim of a truck Tyre this is because they have high tensile wire in them which makes them really strong. the woven areas are made from motorbike and bicycle Tyre's .The head rest and arm rest is made from the front wall of a truck Tyre. Finally the back rest was made from an inner rim of a RV Tyre.

On a dark and starry night I wait for this marshmallow to roast over the hot steaming fire and become nice and fluffy on the outside but warm and gooey on the inside. I suddenly hear a crack of a stick, I wonder in terror what can it be , I slowly turn around with fright.
Suddenly, I hear the rippling of the water and I just think it is frog hopping along then I hear a loud growl and I slightly turn my head just enough to see what was going on behind me. A big hairy wolf with teeth shining like diamonds and a body with fish
scales and murky water on his chest had pierced his eyes on me. I turn my body fully and try to back him off with my stick but he was looking at something and then his eyes changed shapes. He was looking at my roasted marshmallow.
He starts to play around like he was a playful puppy and while he jumped I threw the marshmallow and he snapped at it like a fish. I tried to get another one out of the packet and I could only feel one left and as soon as it was in the open he chomps my hand but just takes the marshmallow. He looks at me for more but there was none left. He looks at me with a poor face and now he has changed his mode and now it was to kill me. I run to my tent and he looks at me and now he has clamped me down. Is there a way that I distract him or will be the end for me…?
I just got away in the nick of time because my distraction worked I pulled out my pillow and then the cute wolf puppy was back I give him the pillow ( because they look like marshmallows) and run back to the camp I will never ask to go camping for a school holiday trip again because of that memory.

Dear Mr Gifkins I think that kids should get paid to go to school because We can help our parents and learn how to respect money and help other people out with there lives.
Firstly, We Should get paid because there are bills that our parents need to pay. if we get paid we can help them out if the are running low on the bills and that will teach us about how to be responsible with money and how to use it in the right way.
Secondly, We Can use this money to buy our own food and clothes . Our parents are the ones who do everything for us and we are starting to get a bit lazy. This will help because parents are the one people that we rely on to get toys and lollies and they spend too much on us. So if we got paid we could buy our own food and clothes.
Lastly, This will help in a way for other as well . We could donate the money to charities in need. We could give the kids without the main ascentuals what they need and give them a better look at life. Help the people without food our water to get through the rough times.
We would love to get paid to go to school so we can help people in need. Learn how to respect money and use it in the right ways and help Our parent work hard and pay there bills so we can stay in our home
I look forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,Jared Anderson

Tree waving around in the air
Birds chirping in the distance
My feet tramping on the roots of the trees
The stench of my sweat
Dirt from the ground coming into my mouth
Animals around me and I think what are they doing with there life

Moving to new Zealand.
RING RING!! it was 7:45 (Australian time) I had just woken up and mum was packing to go back to her home Hastings, New Zealand. Mum made me rush because I forgot to pack the night before. I ran all around trying to get everything into my suitcase so I can get my stuff into the car.
I was bit nervous because I had to go to a new school and meet new people (that's something I’m good with). I loved my home and my family in Aussie. all the new things that I had learn and do and the standards that I had to reach ..
It took a long time because for some of the things I needed they were in places I didn't think of. I left most of my stuff in my room then some on the clothes line and other places around the house . After 10-15 mins I finally found everything and then we were ready.
We were both in the car and ready to go we said goodbye to everyone and started a new adventure in Aotearoa new Zealand. Goodbye Australia hello new Zealand.
